Position Summary:
Reporting to the VP Member Engagement and Marketplace, the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing and Partnerships will play an integral role on the member engagement team helping to define and shape the end user value proposition and brand platform, including building credibility, trust, and unmatched member value. The leader will also be responsible for building the partnerships strategy and defining how League’s brand, voice and tone extend to League’s platform partnerships.

In this role, you will:
- Responsible for the member/ consumer/ end user brand strategy and overarching value proposition and feature value propositions, established by leveraging research and insights
- Build brand affinity, consistency, and quality backed by strong member value that drives awareness and satisfaction from download through to long term retention
- Tasked with building out the consumer brand across verticals including market positioning, brand tenets, archetypes, and messaging guidelines
- Work cross functionally with Product Design and B2B Brand Marketing teams on the evolution of brand guidelines, style guide, voice and tone
- Consolidate and increase member inputs (voice of the customer /member), acting as the spokesperson for member needs through continuous feedback loops
- Partner with the User Research team (League Design) and customer Marketing teams to leverage existing research sources and provide input to the roadmap and prioritization of future research; lead any incremental marketing research needs
- Partner with client teams on Acquisition and Brand Marketing Strategies and the resulting impacts on user engagement
- Lead brand audit; define and establish processes for enabling cross-functional teams with member brand standards, best practices, and guidelines
- Develop and execute a consumer centric partnerships strategy that aligns with League’s strategic objectives, drives engagement (Monthly Active Users, or MAU) and value
- Build a partner evaluation process, pipeline (companies, experts, influencers, etc.), partnership approach and commercial arrangements that support our member value proposition, health content, products & events
- Serve as additional point of contact for League and Platform Business customers, acting as SME in developing a consumer brand and its impact on outcomes
- Define the application of the brand and partnership approach in League Platform business model, by vertical (employer, consumer health, payor, provider or health system)
- Support with the development of related marketing services offerings to clients
- Develop a series of artefacts that can be used across the organization and with members to drive brand awareness, engagement, and consistency across the member experience
- Key metrics include: downloads, activation, active users, early retention, brand awareness, and NPS
About you:
- 5 years of brand marketing experience (B2B2C a plus)
- 3 years management experience
- Partnerships experience including commercialization (influencer a plus)
- Proven track record building and managing high value relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience partnering with product and marketing teams
- Experience with consumer research and voice of the customer methodologies
- Segmentation, targeting, positioning expertise
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and shift contexts across market segments
