We are actively seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our growing team! In this role, you will provide creative input to marketing initiatives and campaigns and collaborate with the marketing department, our agencies and sales teams to develop compelling, audience specific content. You will also be responsible for creating product messaging and positioning research that is used for inbound and outbound sales assets, programs and solution briefs. Teamwork is key as you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Management, Development and Product research teams to launch new products, reintroduce existing lines and retire poor performing products. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter with a knack for project management and attention to detail. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Develop, implement, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events
- Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. product, sales, and customer success) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
- Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities
- Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met; some design work as needed
- Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums
- Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing initiatives
Skills crucial to success in this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in Marketing
- Advanced computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize various marketing and analytics tools such as Pardot, Google Analytics, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), and content management systems
- Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis
- Must have an outstanding attitude, strong work ethic, and be self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to balance priorities and manage multiple projects and balance priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to compose and edit content
- Ability to travel as necessary - trade shows, strategic partnership events, customer site visits
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Design skills preferred as this role will have direct input in copy, web design/layout
- Familiarization with tools like Canva, Photoshop, WordPress
