UX/UI Designer

PROFILE

Leap is a hyper-growth company that is leading the shift to digital operations within the home services industry and we are looking for a UX/UI Designer with research and testing experience to join our Product Team. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced, rapid-growth environments, are comfortable working within a highly collaborative team structure, and understand how to make design decisions based on user feedback, analysis, and best practices. Above all we are looking for creative problem solvers with a Hell Yeah! attitude who see roadblocks as opportunities and eat user-flows for breakfast.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow established design systems to create wireframes, mocks, and prototypes to support feature requests in our iOS app and web-based dashboard platforms

• Use UX best practices, analytics, and user feedback to solve problems and improve our user experience

• Collaborate and contribute to a growing UI component system to help make our products and features more user friendly, intuitive, and accessible

• Help facilitate internal and external UX workshops with cross-functional teams to validate human centered design solutions

• Distil research data into meaningful and actionable insights, personas, and journey maps

• Work hand in hand with our Product development team to understand technical capabilities and ensure feature parity with our current app suite

• Use market research and user feedback to contribute to the optimization of new and existing Leap products and features

• Contribute to a culture of sharing, trust, and learning by adding your own skills and talents to a growing UX/UI team

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• A portfolio and/or work examples that illustrate experience and proficiency in creating personas, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, designs, and prototypes that solve specific UX problems and improve the user experience. We want to see your work and we want to understand your process

• Experience with research planning and execution

• Experience using Quantitative and Qualitative research methods including focus groups, user interviews, usability testing, A/B testing, and more

• Expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe XD a plus (Figma and Sketch are cool too but were an Adobe team)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to explain creative decisions clearly and confidently to a group

• An eye for detail and a drive to get every pixel in a design perfectly in place
