The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization.

Essential Functions:
Answer and redirect incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
Where appropriate, take messages for staff and forward promptly
Check in and appropriately direct all visitors, including students, employees, parents, and vendors
Order and maintain office supply inventory
Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, and data entry
Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well-organized work area
Display a positive, helpful, and professional attitude
Administrative duties, responsibilities, and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time
Minimum Physical Requirements:
Mental Demands: Ability to address telephone calls, visitors, requests, and data in a busy environment
Finger Dexterity: using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together
Talking: especially where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly
Average Hearing: able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information
Average Visual Abilities: ordinary acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or operate machinery
Physical Strength: sedentary work. Sitting most of the time, and occasionally exerts up to 10 lbs. of force (almost all office jobs)
Frequent multi-tasking, changing of task priorities, repetitious exacting work required
Working in a noisy, distracting environment with frequent deadline pressures TRAVEL : Ability to travel in performance of job duties is required

Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
Maintain sensitivity to confidential matters
