For nearly 25 years, we have provided on-site instructional services within the hospital setting, helping students to continue their academic progress during treatment and successfully reenter the classroom.
LearnWell is looking for a detail-oriented and metric driven Billing and Collections Specialist to assist with the billing and collections for our academic services. This position is responsible for working cross-functionally with various teams to ensure invoices are submitted accurately, in a timely manner, and revenue is being collected before school districts are closing their books for the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing billable hours within territory and generating weekly invoices within finance software
- Editing any invoice corrections and distributing them to corresponding school districts
- Monitor and maintain assigned customer accounts
- Facilitate collection calls and/or correspondence to clients
- Respond to customer service inquiries, resolve collection issues, process credits and account adjustments
- Assist with purchase orders and other school district contracts/documentation being sent to our office
Position entails a 40 hour a week commitment, Monday through Friday, generally 8-4:30pm but some flexibility with hours. This role is a hybrid position where the individual will need to get to our Plymouth office 2-3 days a week to assist with school district paperwork coming through the mail. The other 2-3 days of the week can be done remotely. Base salary range between $40,000-$45,000. Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalency of a 4-year college degree coursework
- 2 years prior billing experience
- Knowledge of general bookkeeping and accounting concepts
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work under high pressure situations
