Job Title: Training Specialist Department: QA
Reports to: QEHS Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Summary:
As the Training Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating Sales and Customer Service team members to ensure all employees are properly trained to service our customers and understand the process and capabilities for producing and shipping products at The Lebermuth Company.
Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with management to create, assess, and continuously improve work instructions, SOPs and process training material for new and existing Customer Service, Sales Support, and Sales team members to ensure optimal effectiveness and future performance.
- Works with management to develop and maintain a Customer Service/Sales Support Cross Training Matrix to ensure flexibility and adequate coverage is achieved when needed.
- Coordinates and facilitates classroom and on-the-job style training sessions for all Customer Service/Sales personnel to ensure quick acclimation to the Company and role is achieved.
- Establishes, maintains, and delivers consistent training documentation and feedback to Management for evaluation to ensure training programs continually meet or exceed performance expectations.
- Collaborates with management to develop and monitor training KPI’s that will help company meet or exceed their business goals.
- Problem-solve any significant issues that result from training programs and work with individuals or small teams to initiate corrective action procedures that will minimize future obstacles.
- Participates in SIP meetings (Sales, Inventory, and Production) and utilizes information from meetings to continuously improve Customer Service/Sales processes.
- Strives to promote a safe food culture by maintaining a clean and organized workspace and adhering to all quality and safety standards within the department to ensure the safe production and shipment of quality food products.

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience: 2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Functional Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Basic understanding of percentages. Ability to recognize and follow alpha and numeric sequences. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization is sometimes limited. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written or oral form. Supportive and customer-oriented; extremely detail-oriented, ability to set priorities and get things done; accurate with large amounts of data/work; solid ability to problem solve and work with others to ensure orders are accurate and processed on time. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to exercise sound and accurate judgment. Understands the critical importance of maintaining confidentiality of Lebermuth and customer information; maintains a high level of professionalism.
- Technology Aptitude/Skills: Basic knowledge of computer and keyboard functions, should have the ability to become proficient in Microsoft office suites (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of manufacturing, inventory control and order processing software. Strong working knowledge and experience with CRM systems.
- Language Skills: Ability to communicate and receive information in both verbal and written formats. Ability to give and receive feedback in a professional manner. Ability to read and understand documents such as shop order tickets, bills of lading, pick tickets, safety rules, memos, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Ability to present information effectively to all employees on a regular basis.

Physical and Sensory Demands / Environmental Conditions / Equipment Used:
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, electronic devices, photocopiers, filing systems/cabinets and fax machines.
- Ability to sit at desk for 4 hours per day.
- Ability to operate keyboard and view computer screen frequently.
- Ability to write ideas/information in a logical flow for 5 hours per day.

- Employees will work a 1st shift, generally Monday through Friday, but weekly hours and number of days per week may vary. Overtime is sometimes necessary to ensure business and customer needs are met
Training Specialist Role Details:
Hourly Rate: $24.00 per hour
Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm
