We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated college student to be part of our Summer Intern program. Paid internships will last approximately 10 weeks between June and August. Our interns will work on projects designed to help them gain real-world, hands-on experience working independently under a supervisor and mentor. They will contribute to project teams and initiatives to brainstorm solutions. We’re looking for people with the intellectual, analytical, and creative ability to learn quickly, identify issues, and propose innovative solutions.
We have an exciting internship opportunity working with our Marketing Team in our Tolland, CT. As part of the Marketing team, you will support the integration of Gerber Technology by Lectra with projects, including creating a database that can be used for Digital marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Target specific lists of customers/prospects and coordinate data analysis that will help improve the data quality and maintain a healthy database.
- Data entry and data qualification
- Use research databases such as Dun & Bradstreet as well as social media to enrich the database
- Develop reporting and analysis to show progress of the database improvements
- Develop target lists by creating sophisticated targeting queries
- Assist in various database/Salesforce projects
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing at least a BS in Marketing or Business major
- Current Sophomore or Junior enrolled in an undergraduate program; GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale desired
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Working/strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must continually strive to acquire new skills in relevant technology and business areas
- Ability to work both independently and in groups
- Ability to prioritize and set goals on shifting priorities
- Effective time management skills
