You are an experienced GPS Specialist with experience using Trimble Business Center Software who will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for providing onsite support of machine controls. You will al have experience performing on-site diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of on machine controls. Essential Responsibilities
- Provide general maintenance of onsite machine controls on Mining and Heavy Civil Construction sites within Ledcor
- Provides on-site troubleshooting
- Documents and reports field activities
- Perform on-site diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of on machine controls
- Use Trimble Civil Engineering and Construction products
Qualifications
- Experience with Trimble Business Center Software, 3-D modeling, CAD/AutoCAD and Takeoff preferred.
- Experience with GPS and survey equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of construction and machine control products.
- Able to communicate effectively and interact professionally with supervision and management
- Ability to troubleshoot on hydraulic and electrical issues on machine control on heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine control products
- Experience in welding
- Operation of heavy mining or construction equipment
Work Conditions
- Site based position with travel
- Must possess a valid drivers license
