What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reimbursement Manager position at Ledgent?
The Reimbursement Manager should have experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. They should come from an accounting background with solid analytical skills. MBA or CPA is a plus. Will be responsible for analyzing and calculating cost reports versus contractual allowances. Revenue Cycle and able to estimate zero balance activity.
Should be familiar with key terms such as: Analyzing the collection % from closed patient accounts. Receivables lookup, contractual write offs, bad dept reserve, gross to net AR, Net Revenue Process.
Able to do: Month End Close and journal entries experience. Build revenue models looking back at 1 yr history of zero balance accounts.
