What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sprayer Operator (1st Shift- 7am to 5:30pm) position at LEEDO MANUFACTURING CO., L.P.?

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sprayer Operator is responsible for hand spraying stain, basecoat or topcoat finish material on various cabinet parts on the Hang Line according to Leedo’s safety, handling and quality procedures. He/She will also be responsible for working within a team to achieve production schedule goals.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Hand spray finish materials on production cabinet parts according to daily production schedules.
- Monitor and record all operational control parameters on the daily operational checklist.
- Measure and record all material usage on a daily basis.
- Assist Hang Line Lead in completing daily clean-up duties.
- Adhere to all safety, material handling and quality procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by Finish Supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to read and write in either English or Spanish.
- Must be able to perform basic math skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must understand standard safety practices involved in working in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Attention to detail while handling repetitive tasks
- Ability to receive information through verbal and written communications
- Basic knowledge of the operation of the equipment and the flow of material throughout the plant
- Must be willing to and able to work flexible hours, available for mandatory overtime
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must demonstrate good attendance
Formal Training/Education/Experience
- 6 months of experience in a manufacturing setting a plus
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Manufacturing Environment which requires the use of Hearing Protection, Eye Protection, and Respiratory protection
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. repetitively
- Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours a day
- Ability to work in a physical position which requires lifting, bending, stooping, twisting
- The Production Worker may be exposed to marked changes in temperatures, moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, vibrations, fumes or airborne particles, and other pollutants.
