## Job Overview
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient intake and scheduling appointments in a medical or dental setting. Creole-Speaking is required for this role
## Duties
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the clinic or office
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups efficiently
- Collect and verify patient information for registration
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries regarding appointments and services
- Provide translation services for our Creole-Speaking patients as needed -Assisting patients in completing paperwork accurately.
## Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist, Medical Office Assistant, or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of dental procedures
- Familiarity with navigating ipad or tablet
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
