Job Overview:
We are seeking a customer-oriented Counter Person to join our team at Legacy Chevrolet GMC. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a passion for the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
Looking up parts in electronic parts catalog and sell parts to all customers, including retail, wholesale, and service technicians. Assist with keeping the parts department clean and organized. Assist with parts inventory procedures; stocking and receiving.
Candidates must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced atmosphere. Must have a positive attitude and work well with others. Should have a good knowledge of automobiles (previous automotive parts experience preferred) and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Basic computer skills, customer service skills, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
- Assist customers with parts and service orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive service setting
- Proficiency in Excel for data entry and tracking orders
- Strong phone etiquette skills
- Knowledge of automotive repair and service is beneficial

Pay: $14.00 - $21.00 per hour
