Vinotopia is on the hunt for passionate and talented wine professionals to open a new brand concept in Legacy Food Hall in Plano, Texas. Vinotopia is a new brand of wine shop/wine bar that aims to reinvent the category by offering every wine in inventory by the glass. At Vinotopia guests can sip before cellaring.
Our Wine Sales Somms:

Possess a passion for connecting guests with their new favorite wines
- Cultivate an environment that encourages wine exploration and growth
- Know the wines we carry like the back of their hands and live for educating others
- Recommend the perfect wines for the occasion, both at Vinotopia and for guests to take home

Create regular guests who join our wine club and come back often

Inspire their teammates to ask them for help
- Understand the balance of great service, great knowledge and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum Level One (Intro) Somm certification or equivalent certification, or work experience and knowledge
- Restaurant, retail wine or wine sales experience a plus
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Stand for long periods of time & be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Maintain a current TABC Certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service
Vinotopia is being developed by FB Society (formerly Front Burner Restaurants). The Legacy Hall site is being used as a laboratory to incubate the brand before opening a flagship facility in Dallas. Other brands created by FB Society include Whiskey Cake, Sixty Vines, Ida Claire, Mexican Sugar, Velvet Taco, Son of a Butcher and Legacy Hall itself.
