What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Liaison position at Legacy Health Services?
Purpose of Your Job Position
The dual objectives of this position are: 1) Responsible for identifying, prioritizing and developing lead sources within assigned market, management of primary hospitals in regards to leads and relationships; and 2) Ensure smooth transfer/admission from the hospital to the facility for any appropriate patient from a primary referring hospital.
Education Requirements
• Completion of Bachelors Degree in related field, with evidence of advanced training or, is a registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing, currently licensed by state in which the services are provided.
• A minimum of five (5) years of general nursing experience required with at least two (2) years in long term care and two (2) years of successful experience in experience in either administrative, consultation or involvement in the survey process. Success is defined as a clear, demonstrated history of quality resident care management.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively and work on-site in numerous facilities.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate professionally and positively to Corporate, Regional, and Center staff and work cooperatively with other associates at all levels as well as potential customers.
• Must have excellent documented assessment skills.
• Must demonstrate a work history of being a self-starter, working independently with minimum daily direction, self-motivation with goal directed sales skills.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Must meet all local health regulations and pass post employment physical examination, if required.
• Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Experience
• Sufficient previous experience in clinical health care including direct experience in quality assurance.
