As the Director of Patient Care Services you will work with nursing leadership to ensure high quality clinical outcomes, translate system strategies to managers and staff and establish and maintain a culture of collaboration, service and employee satisfaction.
Legacy Silverton Medical Center serves the heart of the Willamette Valley with a wide mix of services, many not typically available in a community hospital: CT scan (computerized tomography), nuclear medicine, echocardiography, family birth center and much more.
Responsibilities
Serves as Director of Patient Care Services for a service line, site or program within Legacy Health. The Director is responsible and accountable for the performance of assigned departments to produce high quality clinical outcomes, manage resources within budgeted parameters, and to lead a management team to establish and maintain a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration and service excellence. The Director is expected to contribute to strategic and operational planning and to implement and follow through on all planned initiatives to their completion; to role model the highest standards of professional behavior, and to develop productive collaborative relationships with medical staff, ancillary departments, and the senior management team.
Qualifications
Education: An academic degree in nursing is required (BSN or MSN/MN); master’s degree (MSN/MN preferred) or higher required.
Experience: A minimum of eight years progressive professional and/or managerial experience within health care environment.
Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated ability to manage people in setting goals, giving appropriate support, evaluating, directing, and holding employees accountable while maintaining high morale and productivity. Ability to communicate written and oral ideas, plans and directions effectively and facilitate and present data in front of large groups. Must have a thorough understanding of current developments and trends in healthcare management and areas of defined accountability

USD $92.81 - USD $140.14 /Hr.Working Conditions
