Job Overview:
As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of human resources management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a positive workplace culture. You will collaborate closely with senior management and department heads to implement HR strategies that support recruitment, talent development, employee relations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
\n- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in the HVAC industry.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations practices, conflict resolution, and proactive communication.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs and employee feedback mechanisms.
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Support career development opportunities to drive employee growth and retention within the organization.
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Stay updated on labor laws and industry trends to mitigate risks and maintain a fair and inclusive workplace.
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions.
- Work with managers to address performance issues and develop improvement plans as needed.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Ensure competitive and cost-effective benefit offerings that meet the needs of employees and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5 years) in HR management roles, preferably in the HVAC or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to inspire and motivate HR team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on driving positive organizational outcomes.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in HR analytic s (UKG Pro).
- Prior experience in managing union relations or collective bargaining agreements.
