Job Overview:

As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of human resources management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a positive workplace culture. You will collaborate closely with senior management and department heads to implement HR strategies that support recruitment, talent development, employee relations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes. 
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in the HVAC industry. 
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations practices, conflict resolution, and proactive communication. 
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs and employee feedback mechanisms. 
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. 
  • Support career development opportunities to drive employee growth and retention within the organization. 
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. 
  • Stay updated on labor laws and industry trends to mitigate risks and maintain a fair and inclusive workplace. 
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions. 
  • Work with managers to address performance issues and develop improvement plans as needed. 
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. 
  • Ensure competitive and cost-effective benefit offerings that meet the needs of employees and comply with regulatory requirements. 


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Proven experience (5 years) in HR management roles, preferably in the HVAC or similar industry. 
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 


Interpersonal Qualifications:
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. 
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities to inspire and motivate HR team members and cross-functional stakeholders. 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on driving positive organizational outcomes. 


Preferred Qualifications:
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus. 
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in HR analytic s (UKG Pro). 
  • Prior experience in managing union relations or collective bargaining agreements.
