Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Deliver material and inventory accurately and efficiently avoiding unnecessary deliveries
- Make sure daily that all trucks are gassed, clean and restocked before the end of the scheduled shift
- Manage vehicle maintenance to maintain safe driving
- Clean all trucks weekly
- Keep warehouse, garage and parking lot clean and organized
- Follow all procedures and administrative duties by deadline as assigned by Dispatch, Operations Manager or Warehouse/Fleet Manager
- Other duties as assigned
- Working knowledge of the Twin Cities and the surrounding area
- Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC helpful but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to drive safe, obey all traffic laws and operate vehicles in a safe manner
- Ability to use GPS and cell phone effective for efficiency and safety
- Ability to communicate professionally with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to follow directions for product assembly and other warehouse projects
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must hold or be able to obtain a DoT medical certificate
- Working inside and outside in all types of weather conditions
- Lift 70 lbs consistently with the occasional up to 120 lbs with help
- Drive a variety of different vehicles
- Standing on cement
