Legacy Toys is currently searching for a Store Manager to run our Fargo, ND location at West Acres Mall. This is a full time position available immediately. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual who can lead a team, provide an incredible in store experience and grow same store sales within our store.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Store Manager is responsible for making a positive experience for guests and team members that engage with the Legacy Toys brand as well as the overall profitability and management of their store. They are responsible for maintaining our training system with new and existing team members. Maintaining a friendly, clean, well stocked store, receiving purchase orders, transfers, and tracking special orders. They’re responsible for implementing company policies and goals as well as maintaining the staff schedule for their store; including filling in for an emergency. They are responsible for providing regular updates to the General Manager about employee progress, concerns, and store needs. As well as organizing the hiring team, and process within their store. Our Store Managers monitor inventory, including organization of the back room and sales floor; as well as systematically sharing new product information with their sales team.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Monthly/Yearly Sales Growth
- Inventory Management
- Properly Representing the Legacy Toys Brand Experience
- Handling Employee & Guest Relations for your store
- Maintaining and Evolving the Company Culture
- Team Safety and Scheduling
- Team Performance and Training
YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
- Responsible for all aspects of your store, including store operations, guest experience, hiring, training, retention, merchandising and store layout
- Maintain a positive, high energy work environment, while providing leadership to maintain Legacy Toys brand standards and training for a customer experience like no other
- Responsible for delivering a consistent experience for our guests at all touch points while ensuring all daily operational needs meet our high standards
- Resolve guest and team member concerns, establishing consistent responses and guidelines for all
- Protect company assets and minimize loss through store standards and operating procedures
- Collect guest feedback focusing on continuous improvement
- Maintain and build a strong sense of community, integrity and brand for all who live in and visit the magical world we create
- Be the guardian of Legacy Toys brand while being present and accessible
STAFFING/PERSONNEL:
- Hire, instruct and supervise all staff.
- Evaluate team performance, identify hiring and training needs
- Ensure all team members adhere to company’s policies and guidelines
- Facilitate growth of teams Product Knowledge through demonstrations, education, videos and clinics
- Effectively use training manuals to train Assistant Managers, Shift Leads, and Sales Associates
OPERATIONS:
- Help the company continue growth according to our Mission and Vision Statement
- Regularly participate in planning sessions with management team to develop goals
- Track progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
- Keep updated on the Toy Industry trends and their possible impact on the company as a whole, find opportunities and make recommendations
- Execute g, evaluate their results, and provide guidance
- Report all performance issues, including problems and opportunities accurately and in a timely manner
- Conduct regular audits of store, ensure it is functional and presentable
INVENTORY:
- Setup systems to keep the store fully stocked
- Review Inventory Reports to find best-sellers, worst-sellers, discontinued items, seasonal items, etc…
- Make sure inventory is accurate running spot checks, insuring accuracy and correcting mistakes
- Analyze guest behavior, and communicate findings regularly with management team
- Adjust product placement and merchandising techniques according to demand and season
WHAT YOU BRING TO LEGACY TOYS:
- You love working with people and have leadership experience (Retail, Customer Service, Entertainment Industry)
- Experience with recruiting and performance evaluation processes
- Flexibility to support your team and motivated to develop them
- Familiarity with guest service principles
- Working effectively and enthusiastically in a high paced environment
- Proven success in scheduling and managing a team of employees.
- Successful skills in customer service, employee retention and de-escalation of employee relations and customer matters.
- Regular weekend and evening availability.
- Ability to analyze reports and make data driven decisions
- Excellent Interpersonal, written, verbal communication, planning and prioritization skills

Pay: $37,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
