Remote-first
Since March 2020, our Zoomers have worked remotely and reported an overall better work-life balance with more time for family and personal wellness.
At the end of 2021, LegalZoom made the official commitment to being a remote-first company. Remote-first means that there is no expectation that Zoomers come into an office for a fixed number of days outside of those employees identified as essential onsite workers. While we remain a remote-first culture, our local offices have evolved as collaboration spaces for Zoomers to meet and engage in person.

Overview
LegalZoom is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Vendor Manager to join our team. As a Sales Vendor Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business needs through effective vendor management, collaboration, and building and maintaining positive relationships. You will be responsible for managing the relationship, strategy, and performance of the vendor, contributing to both short-term objectives and long-term growth initiatives.
You will
- Vendor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the external partner, serving as the primary point of contact for all communications and interactions.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans that align with LegalZoom's objectives and drive business growth with the vendor.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and analyze key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize performance and achieve targets.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to the vendor relationship, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on business operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Legal to ensure alignment and collaboration on vendor-related initiatives.
- Vendor Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with the vendor, providing feedback and guidance to drive continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.
- Assess trends in the business and conduct analyses to understand partner performance based on LZ KPIs
- Create narratives to help communicate the “why” behind our performance and expectations for the future.
Build operational rigor and data-backed operating mechanisms to build a data-driven culture in the organization.
10 years’ experience in Sales and or Operations leadership roles with experience in a Brand or BPO space- High comfort leveling working with and manipulating large data sets to tease out insights and identify trends
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of leadership
- Experience gathering and presenting data to tell stories in a clear and concise manner
- Skills at managing senior stakeholders while driving work both individually and through business partners
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including international travel
