THE ROLE   

Legends is seeking a temporary HR Coordinator to assist multiple aspects of the Human Resources department including:

  • Onboarding and Orientation
  • Learning & Development
  • Benefits

The HR Coordinator needs to be a resourceful self-starter who can prioritize when requests for assistance are made simultaneously. This position requires exceptional time management and organizational skills. The HR Coordinator is often the first point of contact for new employees, so a positive and welcoming demeanor is essential.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  •  Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  •  Assist with benefit inquiries
  •  Assist with administering the learning platform (Litmos)
  •  Projects as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • One year of experience working in a Human Resources department
  • Interest and/or experience in Learning & Development preferred
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with HRIS administration (UltiPro a plus)
  • Experience administering an LMS preferred (Litmos is a plus)
  • HS degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

 

COMPENSATION

Hourly rate $24.00, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: On site

  • Must be able to physically lift 10 pounds

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands to finger, and handle controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk, and stoop. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
