If so, this might be just the right position for you! This role can be based in our Boston office or remote in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own and handle the complete end-to-end sales process in a target territory.
  • Persuasively influence and advise district level administrators about the LEGO Education value proposition to both increase market share and the number of students positively impacted by using the LEGO Learning System.
  • Drive revenue growth in an assigned territory by exceeding assigned annual sales targets.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting results by demonstrating leadership capabilities and detailed market insights.
  • Consistently build a strong sales pipeline through effective prospecting activities including cold calling, in person meetings, successful networking and creative marketing initiatives.
  • Accurately lead all sales opportunities and associated activities in the company provided CRM system with a focus on data driven decision making.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of industry and territory trends, funding, and influencers within the defined territory.
  • Develop strategic prospecting and territory plans to expand from new and current customers.
  • Deliver compelling and persuasive product presentation in both in-person and virtual settings.
  • Lead existing customer relationships to ensure high levels of retention, product usage and organic growth.
  • Run the RFP process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of proposals.

This position is a critical role within the US organization that will focus on driving revenue and market share growth through new customer acquisition and growing existing customer accounts through strategic account management in a defined geographic region. This person will collaborate to identify solutions that increase learning outcomes. This role is ideal for experienced sales professionals that are authoritative in effective prospecting techniques, delivering compelling product presentations and networking across districts with key decision makers.
A Mid-Market Account Manager is responsible for mid-sized K-12 School Districts and higher education institutions.This is a hybrid sales role that incorporates a best of both approach, effectively running most of the day to day responsibilities remotely and traveling for strategic meetings as needed.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Minimum 3 years of K-12 education sales or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to conduct persuasive presentations
  • Experience with effectively using CRM platforms and account management
  • Consistent track record of being a top sales performer
  • Consultative sales training with Challenger training as an added benefit
  • Experience leading large sales territories
  • Strong interest in both warm and cold prospecting

  • Possess the initiative, drive, creativity and problem solving to excel in running a large geographic territory.
  • Strong customer centric focus with the ability to build networking connections.

  • Agility to identify the need to course correct and pivot approach when something is not working, including being coachable.
  • Proven track record to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
