We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our team in the important role of Outside Sales.
Our growing business is need of an Outside Sales Representative to increase sales in our Oregon territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The Outside Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. Schedule
- Full Time-Exempt- General hours of work 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. (some work outside normal business hours is expected)
- Travel is required. Some remote work may be a possibility after an initial 1-year training period.
Compensation
- $55, 000 - $75,000 DOE Plus Quarterly quota bonuses.

Primary Responsibilities
- Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence in the Oregon territory.
- Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients.
- Maintain high-quality customer service standards while increasing sales and market penetration.
- Update client information in the company contact database.
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
- Support the Company’s Mission, Vision, and Values through consistent execution of identified processes and communications.
- Effectively manage time and calendar.
- Consistently delivers professional communication with clients, vendors, and all others with whom they interact.
- Work independently and productively while maintaining open communication with others.
- Regular attendance and timeliness.
- Perform other duties as assigned or otherwise identified.
Attributes of a Strong Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field required
- 3 years outside sales experience
- Must be willing to travel
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to a changing business environment
- Strong computer skills and understanding of spreadsheet software
- Skilled in generating accurate quotes and bid submissions that meet specification and generate the required profitability for the Company.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
- Professional capacity to communicate effectively with government agency representatives of all management levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in all work environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to satisfy position contingencies such as criminal background check, drug test, and Motor Vehicle Report
Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
