The Account Manager position is critical in managing accounts through direct and/or dealer relationships. The Account Manager must build and maintain customer relationships while driving sales growth; must identify and drive sales opportunities. This role is responsible for complete product portfolio management.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region for Ophthalmology.
Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
Identify selling opportunities across product lines, including lead generation
Conduct analysis and performance evaluation of all sales in assigned region by use of the Salesforce.com tool.
Coordinate and/or conduct product demonstrations
Manager follow-up with Purchasing/Price Admin
Assist in install between Field Service Engineer and customer / Facilities Manager; obtain documentation, signatures, forecast revenue recognition date, and arrange training
Exceeds customer needs by identifying and utilizing appropriate team resources
YOUR PROFILE:
You have a BA, BS or MS degree in business, marketing or a related scientific field
You demonstrate a core understanding of the capital procurement process and your are strong in relationship building as well as interpersonal and communication skills
You offer a minimum of 1-2 years of experience successful selling capital equipment.
