The Defense and Intelligence group at Leidos is currently looking for a Oracle Core Database Administrator to support the Human Resources System Technical Support (HRSTS-III) Program.

The Opportunity:

Responsibilities include applying Oracle's quarterly Critical Patch Update (CPU/PSU application) using OPATCH utility to install, test, and deploy patches to all database instances. Complete STIG checklists for Database instances, providing advice and recommendations for courses of action to DBA teams regarding potential solutions to security vulnerabilities. Use Oracle Enterprise Manager and SQL Developer for troubleshooting complex database issues and manage SQL Tuning Profiles.

What Sets You Apart:

• BS degree and 12 or more years of prior relevant experience; or a Masters and 10 or more years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of background may be considered in lieu of education.

• Security CE certification.

You Might Also Have:

• Previous IT support of military personnel applications

• Experience working with DOD customer as a contractor.

• Demonstrated experience in and understanding of the installation, configuration, and update of Oracle 12c and 19c using OUI, OPATCH, DBCA and DBUA. Familiarity with managing Oracle Databases in a Cloud Environment (i.e., AWS).

Clearance Needed:

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
