Leidos is seeking experienced Research Scientist personnel for our client's operational requirements on a mission focused program within a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Maryland area. Successful candidates in this position will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across the intelligence community and directly contribute to management and analysis of security policy and operations.

Primary Responsibilities: Science and Technology

• Performing in-depth technical studies requiring specialized skills or knowledge.
• Developing technology roadmaps.
• Conducting risk/benefit analysis of different technical choices or outcomes.
• Providing independent reviews and summaries of technical and scientific literature.
• Participating, presenting, and producing materials for working groups, workshops, and interagency forums to provide expertise and technical consultation.
• Providing expertise on research and development processes.
• Providing technical consultation and assessments on specific topics.

Basic Qualifications:

• TS/SCI with Poly
• Experience providing advice, analysis, and insight on Science and Technology areas.
• Requires BS and 15- 20 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 13 - 16 years of prior relevant experience.
• Minimum 6 years working with or in the IC.
