JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Denotes the essential job functions according to ADA guidelines.
All duties are measured by supervisory observation, documentation, or as reported by others.
- 1. Protects the quality and integrity of all food produced in the food & nutrition department.
- 2. Manages inventory, ordering, production planning, and supplies to ensure budget compliance.
- 3. Develops creative menus for the facility’s cafeteria and catering program, creating menus based on needs
- 4. Creates an atmosphere in the department that fosters great team morale, passion for quality, and respect for each other.
- 5. Participates in hiring process by making recommendations to Director on new staff.
- 7. Collaborate with registered dietitians, cooks, and Director to develop menus
- 8. Maintains compliance with all requirements of federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
