Data Analyst
We are seeking a hands-on and tech-savvy Data Analyst to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Data Analyst, you will be a key contributor to developing new ways to manage information on what makes up a Lennar home. You will be responsible for deriving business insights from data, improving data quality, and supporting the integration of data into a wider range of internal systems. This role demands a professional or academic background in a quantitative or analytical discipline field, work experience in a fast-paced environment, and a high level of detail orientation.
You will collaborate on an ongoing basis with internal customers across Lennar and with our Program Management, Design and Product & Engineering functions. Our team is most similar to a fast-paced startup environment, where we are constantly striving to hit ambitious deadlines to learn quickly based on real customer feedback and develop the product.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial, exploratory, and confirmatory data analysis using Excel, PowerBI, SQL, and (optional) Python or R
- Present data analysis results to a variety of audiences to support their decision making
- Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Identify, implement, and run processes and automations to scale and improve our dataset effectively
- Proactively support our internal customers in obtaining the most value from our work through data analysis, data entry, and data quality assurance.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects to improve our data capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Quantitative or Scientific Field (if no academic degree, a minimum of 5 years of job experience as a Data or Business Analyst)
- A minimum of 3 year of professional experience, including internships.
- Experience with Excel, SQL (preferably Snowflake), Business Analytics Tools (PowerBI, Looker etc.)
- A customer-centric mindset demonstrated by prior experience in a customer-facing function
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical team members as well as non-technical business problems to technical team members.
