Product Designer

Lennar is looking for an experienced designer to support various domains. This role will be foundational in creating context for the problems that we will solve and the disciplines of agile UX. You will use your role as a design leader to enable our teams to focus on excellent design while also helping the broader product team reach a rigorous consistency of delivery through a to be built product and design framework. This role may be for you if you have a passion for complex system interconnectivity and high standards for quality. You aren't afraid to give direct feedback but have the emotional intelligence to do so in a way that inspires appreciation, respect, and action. You also have a deep understanding of technology and the platforms that enable it.

• Partner with Product and digital teams to bring consistency and unity to our whole customer and associate experience
• Support and leverage digital design brand standards that are informed by strategy, user research and integrated between customer touchpoints and product experiences
• Work through complex architectural challenges to create elegant and simple solutions, through ideation to journey maps, wire, prototype and high fidelity designs
• Directly contribute to design and front-end components in React and Figma
• Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize the team's focus
• Guide and mentor a small team of designers to ensure high-quality output.
• Make individual design contributions by working ahead on longer-term projects and supporting the team when needed
• Lead from the front and demand excellence for product and engineering partners.
• Maintain excellent rapport and working relations with the digital product design team.

Education and Experience Required

• Minimum of 5 years of digital product design and art direction experience
• BFA/MFA in design or a related discipline
• Experience working with a design team or individual contributor

Additional Requirements

• A mastery of data structures, user interface, interaction design, and prototyping
• Strong visual and typographic sensibility
• Deep understanding of how qualitative and quantitative research inform product and design decisions
• An empathetic listener who can give and receive honest, thoughtful feedback
• Able to present and explain design effectively, regardless of the audience
• Keep up to date with the latest design trends

Physical Requirements: This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
