Description and Requirements
The Global Services Project Manager will help manage the creation and expansion of Lenovo Services initiatives across all regions and segments worldwide. This role requires a dynamic thought leader who is comfortable and effective at influencing across worldwide and regional leadership teams to ensure that business objectives and P&L targets are met.
The individual should use their experience, operations analysis skills, creative thinking and ability to draw on past business experience to provide creative and thoughtful solutions to these issues. This position requires the individual to be a part of an Offerings Development Team and work efficiently and effectively with Service Delivery, Procurement, Operations, Geography Sales, Marketing, IT Development and Finance team members to deliver leadership offerings on-time. Individuals will have the opportunity to work with and influence a variety of WW stakeholders to drive transformational projects.
Position Requirements:
Expected to analyze and manage project detail while simultaneously aligning the “big picture” project priorities with the priorities of the company and customer.
Manages multiple transformation projects simultaneously.
Develop and maintain consistent communication and relationships with key extended teams including regional Services teams, Services Delivery, Marketing, Development and others.
Identifies project problems (and/or risks) in advance so that they do not create barriers to progress. Doesn’t hesitate to raise red flags/escalate when necessary to get the appropriate help needed to keep the project moving
Excellent communication skills; comfortable giving executive updates.
Strong process orientation. Achieve schedules/milestones, ensure accuracy and quality of business analysis, drive continuous process improvement
A self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and able to trailblaze to figure out new processes
Is business-minded, has a natural curiosity for technology in the PC device/software/cloud infrastructure space, and willing to take on ownership of specific tasks in the project plan
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- 5 years of managing complex projects preferably in the tech industry
- Experience managing projects specifically for Managed Services offerings a plus
- PMP certification a plus
- High level of communication & presentation skills
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative approach to meeting business objectives and ability to influence at all levels of matrixed organizations
- Experience working with global teams and conducting business internationally
