Job Summary
Description
Leads capture efforts and manages full capture lifecycle for Leonardo DRS’ Global Enterprise Solutions (GES) business duel based in Dulles, VA and Tampa, FL. GES’ core business competencies include global satellite communications (SATCOM/COMSAT) as well as Information & Communications Technology (ICT) solutions. As the Capture Manager, you would target and populate the GES pursuit pipeline for new business initiatives and manage through the business development life cycle from identification through assessment, qualification, pursuit, and bid.
Job Responsibilities
Review RFP/RFQ/RFI emails/portals/websites to assess opportunities, make Salesforce entries and distribute internally as necessary based on assessment. Organize internal responses and determine if sufficient GES and/or partner capabilities are available to pursue utilizing Salesforce (Chatter).
If bid decision is made, pass opportunity on to team for execution of proposal.
Manage partner relationship communication management.
Provide required information for monthly, quarterly and annual contract reports as required for each GWAC/IDIQ.
Coordinate with task order Project Managers to ensure contract reporting information is received with sufficient time and quality to complete overall GWAC/IDIQ contract deliverables.
Resolve issues with report content to ensure accurate and complete reporting submittal.
Primary customer interface for GES prime GWAC/IDIQ contracts
Monitor GWAC/IDIQ mailboxes and respond to emails with contract-related instructions and determine appropriate distribution for remaining emails. Direct other emails for action.
Job Responsibilities Part II
Develop bid decision rationale and enter decision into appropriate customer portal as required. Track bid decisions to ensure they are entered in sufficient time to meet customer deadlines
Obtain/maintain access to all appropriate customer-provided and/or required web portals needed to perform contract administrative functions (eBuy, SEWP, etc.) Coordinate access as necessary and maintain current GES team member lists.
Act as contract Subject Matter Expert (SME) within GES. Provide support for task order Project Managers across GES who are executing GWAC/IDIQ task orders.
Assist in marketing contract vehicles to current and future customers. Maintain contract vehicle listing tracker with accurate information on all current and current GES MACs and GWACs.
Track and report on invoicing on all task orders to both management and to customer GWAC/IDIQ Managers as required.
Track GWAC/IDIQ funding fee invoices and payments to ensure they are completed within contractual requirements.
If required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position.
Develop and maintain IDIQ management and best practices. Ensure those practices are followed throughout GES.
Qualifications
Minimum seven years related experience and bachelors degree in marketing, business, finance or engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
Directly applicable capture management experience in government contracting or highly related industry
Full understanding of both capture management and business development lifecycles
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage full lifecycle capture
Evidence of notable award wins and their associated strategic and tactical planning
Preferences
Masters degree
Salesforce proficiency
Experience in SATCOM industry
Knowledge of SATCOM customers
