Position Overview:
The Director, Spring Dance Hot Tubs is responsible for leading the sales & business strategy for Leslie’s Poolmart, Inc.’s Spring Dance Hot Tubs division. This individual must be an agile, collaborative leader who sets the direction for the division’s retail operations while driving alignment with the strategic goals of the enterprise. The main responsibilities include providing leadership and coaching to the Spring Dance Hot Tubs leadership team, creating a world class employee environment, driving sales and services development, supporting the growth of the teams, and delivering excellence on the Client Experience. Reports directly to the VP, Hot Tub Specialty RTL and manages a team of operations, development, and sales leaders.
Job Qualifications:
- At minimum 5 years as a successful Director or Sr. Manager-level leader within the company, or
- At least 5 years field experience in a multi‐unit retail environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or marketing is preferred
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Develops division leadership team to accomplish business objectives through recruitment, selection, coaching, training, investment, career -pathing, retention, and motivation.
- Responsible for profit and loss and EBITDA performance by driving sales, services and developing expense audit points.
- Responsible for developing financial forecasts and maintaining related disciplines.
- Ensures attainment of sales, services, warehouse, payroll, operating expenses and inventory purchasing and management.
- Partners with our home office marketing team to ensure our marketing plan is effective.
- Oversees stores performance relative to achievement of sales plans, customer service standards, operating standards, and merchandising objectives.
- Collaborates in the development of sales and expense budgets and all company‐developed programs.
- Has a clear vision for and understanding of the business, culture, and operations; maintains a long-term, big picture view foreseeing obstacles and opportunities and generating innovative ideas.
- Additional responsibilities, tasks or projects as assigned by the VP, Hot Tub Specialty RTL.
