Front Of House Manager – A Landmark Burlington, Vermont restaurant is seeking a creative, hands on professional to join our team in a leadership capacity. The right candidate needs to be competent in all aspects of managing a high end, restaurant environment. Full time duties include staff mentoring, Scheduling & onboarding using 7Shifts, Operations of POS system input new menu items & offerings. Working with the Bar Manager & Chef to give back to the community.
The right candidate will be capable of inspiring others to reach the next level both by personal example and by facilitating an atmosphere of teamwork and esprit de corps. Front of House Manager Mission Statement = A Manager runs the front of the house for a restaurant and ensures the food meets quality standards and is sent out on time. Much of a FOH Manager’s time is spent monitoring the performance of the front of house staff. The FOH Manager observes the Service quality and also makes sure that all safety and sanitation rules are being followed. We are looking for a Front of House Manager to run the service side of the restaurant. You will hire and train servers, bussers, and hosts/hostesses, and ensure that the front-of-house (FOH) runs smoothly. You are ultimately responsible for customer satisfaction, so you must make sure your staff is providing excellent customer service. You must also facilitate a smooth line of communication between the servers and the kitchen. Our ideal candidate has several years of experience working in restaurants, preferably with some time spent in a supervisory role. Keep the day to day operations running smoothly.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in fine dining.

- Having Knowledge of OpenTable an on line reservation system is a plus.
