What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at LevelUP?

Global real estate asset and investment management company seeking an Engineering Project Manager to join the New York City team.

Responsibilities:

- You will be responsible for project management on behalf of the building owner for complex conversions, modernizations and tenant improvements as well as for technical and infrastructural measures

- You control internal and external technical project participants as well as the facility management

- You regularly coordinate with the service providers of the property and facility management and ensure the quality of the portfolio management

- You are responsible for the quality, construction status, cost and schedule control of maintenance measures

- You are responsible for the portfolio management and the warranty management of properties in relation to construction projects of the technical and infrastructural facility management and record orders and contract award services in SAP.

- You will be involved in the internal coordination and decision-making process and will conduct contract and agreement negotiations with various business partners.

- You advise and support the commercial Asset Manager and tenants or prospective tenants in the conclusion of lease agreements or extensions and implement expansion measures

- You work together with the project managers ESG & Sustainability to prepare and implement the energetic refurbishment of the entire portfolio

- You independently develop modernization and optimization concepts, in particular to improve the carbon footprint of the properties in your area of responsibility

- You take over the control and monitoring of the ESG measures from a technical point of view.

Profile/Requirements:

- You have a degree in architecture, industrial engineering or civil engineering or similar, as well as several years of specialized professional experience.

- You have in-depth knowledge of the current regulations and standards in the real estate industry with regard to construction technology

- You have experience in project-related budgeting and cost control as well as in the planning and realization of large-scale construction projects

- You enjoy actively shaping the sustainable transformation of the portfolio by integrating the technology of tomorrow

- You are determined, self-initiated, flexible and have a confident manner
