Position Overview
Leviat is searching for a results-oriented Regional Sales Manager will lead a sales team to drive contractor and fabricator sales activity in our Western Region. This position reports directly to the Commercial Vice President and will be ideally based out of Texas. In this critical role the Regional Sales Manager will expand sales volume and profitability through strategic sales management of a strong team of District Sales Managers in the region. This position will support a regional team of 7-8 sales professionals based in California, Texas, Colorado, and Washington. We are ideally looking for this person to be based in Dallas but would be open to considering candidates in major cities in the CST or MST time zones.
Responsibilities
Lead contractor/fabricator sales team in the Western US to drive revenue for the business- Coach, mentors and teaches the sales team and drives the adoption of internal and external best practices.
- Analyze metrics and performance of the team to identify areas for coaching and improvement.
- Supports sales team with ride along coaching, participating in client meetings, developing proposals and other aspects of the full sales process.
- Measure and report on KPIs for the sales team.
- Implement processes & tools to inform sales decisions and create revenue opportunities, while ensuring our customer demands are met or exceeded.
- Set short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluate the effectiveness of current sales programs.
- Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams, including Customer Service, Manufacturing, Supply chain, Engineering, and Product Management to create the best customer experience possible.
- Meet or exceed agreed upon sales forecasts for volume and revenue.
Requirements
10 years in sales/account management in building materials, construction, industrials or related- Demonstrated successful history of building and managing top performing sales teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in business/engineering or equivalent experience
- 5 years of sales management experience
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
