Procurement Specialist:

Mission of the role: is responsible for carrying out demand analysis and ensuring that sales and operations have the necessary resources and materials to fulfill orders. It must also be in communication with suppliers in the US and Canada for greater traceability of their purchases.

Responsibilities:

  • Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions for purchases.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to optimize procurement strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.
  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory control to prevent shortages and minimize excess stock.
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
