Merchandising Sales Coordinator

Lewis Bakeries, Inc. is looking for an ENTRY LEVEL DSD Sales Coordinator for the Indianapolis Indiana marketing area. The desired candidate will be located in or around the Brownsburg, IN area. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Primary Job Duties:

• Stocking Lewis Bakery products to the sales floor.
• Follow all corporate policies, directives and strategies.
• Assist the area Sales Managers with recruiting, training and developing a team of merchandisers to meet customer requirements and expectations, as well as sales targets.
• Cover the area Sales Manager’s territory when on vacation.
• Providing feedback to management to ensure effective results.
• Meeting and exceeding customer expectations by following company strategies
• Developing and growing customer relationships within a big box selling environment.
• Observing and reporting competitive activity within the territory and recommending solutions to management.
• Promoting practices that result in all employees conducting themselves in a safe and professional manner

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have merchandising experience in a consumer packaged goods or direct store delivery environment. Some management experience is preferred.

This position is subject to a drug test and background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities.

Additional Information

• Primary work schedule is Wednesday through Sunday
• Work Location is in the Indianapolis, IN Marketing area.
