Lewis Brisbois is seeking a Lease Portfolio Manager to join our team. This role will assist our CFO, Director of Facilities, Managing Partner, Real Estate Advisors, and Project Managers on the management and administration of the existing and proposed building leases and projects. Analyzing lease expenditures – including operating costs, CAM expenses, property taxes and utilities – and taking action to adjust those expenditures where possible and appropriate. Managing key dates and lease options proactively, to allow for enough time to make critical decisions. Managing, reviewing and monitoring payment terms to ensure all payments (lease, parking & other) are made/received when due. Facilitating and analyzing requests for alterations to leased space and expansions. Evaluating and auditing the lease portfolio to identify potential issues.
Responsibilities
Job Specifications/Requirements:
4 year degree or equivalent experience
10 years related work experience
Recent experience within Real Estate as an analyst, project manager, finance manager or strategic business planner
Demonstrated hands on Lease Management experience
Ability to review, interpret and abstract legal real estate documents
Experience with database/records management
- Demonstrated real estate market knowledge, including typical practices and terms
- Excellent presentation skills with ability to present complex information in concise manner to Attorneys and Executives
