What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pest Control/ Termite Technician position at Lewis Pest Control?
We are currently seeking ambitious and personable candidates to serve as a Termite (Sentricon) Technician as we continue to grow in the Alexander City area. Lewis Pest Control provides pest and termite control services to residential and commercial customers. You will provide uncompromised service to our residential or commercial customers using the Sentricon Termite system. You will be responsible for installing the Sentricon system and inspecting customers homes.
Gone are the days of liquid treatments. We use the Sentricon Always Active bait system which is the most studied termite treatment available. It's installed around the house in the ground. We spend more time inspecting and less time installing due to the effectiveness of the system.
We are looking for an experienced technician but we will train the right person. If you have had stable employment, have previous technician experience as an installer with great customer service skills and want to do work that is gratifying and want to build a career, we want to talk to you.
You will work with our residential and commercial pest control customers. You will also service and inspect Sentricon termite bait stations, find installed stations with locator device, inspect and record bait station condition and active or previous termite activity, repair or replace damaged or missing components, and document service findings and provide report to the customer.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency required licensing/certification exams
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and work in a drug-free workplace
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
- Opportunities for advancement in sales and commissions on top of base pay are available for the right person
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
