Job Title: Temporary HR Generalist (6 months)
Schedule: Hybrid; Monday-Friday
Location: Hempstead
Hourly Rate: $30
Experience Required:
- Proficient in ADP Workforce Now.
- Experienced in handling leaves of absence and benefits administration.
- Knowledgeable in posting job openings and initial screening of candidates before forwarding to hiring managers.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize ADP Workforce Now for various HR functions including payroll processing, employee records management, and reporting.
2. Manage leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
3. Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication with vendors.
4. Post job openings on appropriate platforms and conduct initial screening of candidates through phone interviews or other methods.
5. Collaborate with hiring managers to facilitate the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews and providing necessary support.
6. Assist in conducting new hire orientations and ensuring proper onboarding procedures.
7. Provide support in employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
9. Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
10. Perform other HR-related duties and projects as assigned.
