AP Manager
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a growing firm, looking to add an AP Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience, to their team in Richmond, VA.
The AP Manager will oversee a small team and be responsible for processing vendor invoices, expense reports, managing the credit card, and payment process for multiple divisions. This position will regularly interact with Senior leadership, so strong communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
• Review GL for AP entries to ensure accuracy and make corrections if needed
• Ensure vendor invoices and expense reports are entered for month-end close
• Reconcile vendor statements, intercompany AP/AR accountants and corporate credit card monthly, research and correct discrepancies
• Prepare accruals for monthly expenses
• Oversee corporate credit card and expense reporting
• Prepare reports including monthly spend, Aged AP Trial Balance, etc.
• Implement ongoing improvements to increase overall efficiency in the department
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 8 years of prior experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
Skills:
• Excellent leader with proven ability to mentor and provide guidance
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Comp: $80-100k
