Job Description
The Compensation Analyst who is open to assisting with payroll and other analytical projects will research job requirements and evaluate job positions to ensure the company is competitive in the areas of salaries and employee benefits.
Contract to hire
Hourly: $55-60/hr DOE
Location: Foster City, CA
Duties/Responsibilities:- Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
- Assist with global compensation analysis for international workforce
- Assist with processing international payroll
- Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.
- Research global compensation plans
- Review payroll and manage leave of absences
- Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
- Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary scales. Required Skills/Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Extensive knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Education and Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in compensation
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- One to three years of experience as a compensation analyst required
