Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to incoming calls from customers for various purposes.
- Promote and secure orders from both existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
- Serve as a consultant to customers on industry-related issues, including trends, regulations, and new products.
- Liaise with vendors and manufacturers to meet customer requirements for non-stock items.
- Complete necessary paperwork to facilitate workflow across departments.
- Enter orders into the online order system.
- Address all customer communications promptly.
- Resolve customer conflicts within a specified timeframe.
- Maintain organized and accurate records.
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for customers.
- Attend product meetings to enhance product knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Preferred Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or relevant experience and/or training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Ability to work in-person at the corporate office.
- At least one year of Customer Service experience
- Passion for helping customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
