Title : Event Planner
Pay : $38-40 / hr

Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the Direct Mail Program catering to donors and prospects contributing under $1000, including crafting appeal and acknowledgment letters, overseeing materials production, and generating program reports.
- Coordinate the production of promotional materials across various mediums, including print, website, and social media, to drive engagement for special events.
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute fundraising events, ensuring they meet budgetary goals and contribute to overall fundraising objectives.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, officers, administrators, and volunteers to create impactful fundraising events supporting diverse Foundation programs and initiatives.
- Develop event strategies to engage existing donors and attract new participants, maximizing outreach and donor acquisition.
- Manage philanthropic initiatives, focusing on sponsorships and overseeing high-level volunteer involvement.
- Oversee the Foundation's Caduceus Society program, ensuring its effectiveness and impact.
- Conduct thorough follow-up with potential event attendees and sponsors to ensure event success.
- Manage the Foundation's Community Fundraising Program, fostering community engagement and support.
- Provide supervision and guidance to the Coordinator of Special Events and Community Giving.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of five years' experience in development, with a track record of progressively responsible roles and strong project and event management skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications and experience with Raiser’s Edge software.
- Sound fiscal management abilities.
- Commitment to delivering service excellence.
- Full-time on-site work required.
