What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fund Accountant position at LHH?

LHH has partnered with a long-standing client seeking a fund accountant to join their team! This is a great opportunity for a new college graduate looking to get experience in the accounting field and grow with a great organization. This is a contract to hire role with hourly pay of $24.65/hour. This role will be hybrid upon completion of training.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to Day accounting and administration servicing for clients
  • Attention to detail, monitoring high value accounts
  • Morning reports, checking activity, checking deposits, daily bank reconciliation research
  • Coordination and support of audits, correspondence with investment managers regarding daily fund inquiries

    Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel sills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance preferred - will consider those with Economics, Math, General Business Management
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
