Job Overview:
LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a healthcare organization seeking a Business Development Manager. This position is based in Indianapolis, IN but is open to considering remote or hybrid candidates out of state. In this role you are responsible for managing and developing relationships with vendors and selling on a national level to government payors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategy focused on financial growth as well as strengthening existing partnerships on national and local levels in various government and private sectors.
- Research and identify new business via government (i.e. Sam.gov and GSA Advantage) and other databases for RFP, RFI and RFQ publications, including subcontracting and partnership opportunities.
- Coordinates applications and bid responses on opportunities from various entities related to services; managing from start to finish including postmortem reviews.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations, compliance requirements, industry standards and relay impacts to leadership as well as identify strategies to maintain compliance.
- Effectively communicate with leadership on strategy, current status, and post award discussions.
- Travel to client locations for structured meetings across the country
- Attending and representing company at conferences
Qualifications:
- Software: Salesforce
- 5 years of experience in business development role required
- GSA (US General Services Administration) experience required.
- In-depth understanding of government procurement processes, RFP/RFQ responses and contracting vehicles.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards
- Proposal writing experience
- Contracting/Negotiation experience
- Proficiency in using Salesforce and other business development tools.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or experience with healthcare that is subsequent to Bachelors degree.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to pivot where needed

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
