LHH is seeking a dynamic HR professional for a part-time HR Consultant for a company in Charlotte, NC! The ideal candidate has several years of experience as an HR Manager or high-level HR professional looking to work 12-25 hours per week.
This position is a hybrid role with flexible hours.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.
- Serve as a resource for employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage the E-Verify process for new hires, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions for employees and management on various HR topics, including diversity, harassment prevention, and safety protocols.
- Oversee safety training initiatives and workers' compensation programs, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions, while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Conduct salary surveys to gather data on compensation trends and ensure competitive salary structures.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management issues, including goal setting, feedback, and coaching.
- Manage mortgage verification processes for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications :
- Demonstrated expertise in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and training.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software applications.
