What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions has an opportunity for anyone in Erlanger, KY. The perfect candidate would have at least 2 years of experience in an office setting preferably in a legal setting. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. This position is 100% on-site and is Monday through Friday 8 am-4:30 pm.
Responsibilities
Prepare and process legal documents such as summonses, subpoenas, appeals, and agreements
Perform clerical and support functions for the council and as needed with the administration
Review documents, check for errors, and find missing information
Communicate with employees, customers, and other individuals to answer questions
Maintain and update inventory, mailing, and database systems
Open, sort, and route incoming mail
Answer correspondence and prepare outgoing mail
Collaborate with various departments to complete tasks and projects
Operate office machines, such as office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, personal computers
Complete work schedules, arrange appointments, and manage calendars
Ability to accurately file highly confidential information
Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED
2 years of office experience in a legal setting (Firm, Court, or in house)
Skills
Ability to type at least 50 WPM
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Detail oriented
Ability to present in a professional setting
Employment Type
Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm

$16-$17/hr
