What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Specialist position at LHH?
LHH is partnering with a healthcare company located in Shelton, WA that is looking to add a part-time Program Specialist to their growing team. This person would be responsible for the administration efforts to support volunteer programs across the organization.
Essential Job Functions:
- Plan and Coordinate volunteer programs and activities
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process for the volunteer programs
- Oversee policies and procedures for programs to include performance, recruitment, scheduling and compliance
- Develop and mentor relationships with volunteers
- Prepare event medial materials for distribution; coordinate event mailings and disperse event marketing collateral
- Create monthly reports volunteer programs
- Point of contact for all volunteer program inquiries
- Assist with related duties and projects as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years of experience of relevant experience in volunteer management, outreach efforts and/or recruitment
- Experience working for a nonprofit or healthcare organization preferred
- Customer service-oriented attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication skill
- Detailed-oriented and organized
