LHH is seeking a WORKDAY HRIS ANALYST for a contract position in Sugar Land, TX.
THIS IS A 100% REMOTE OPPORTUNITY!
SUMMARY:
Fulfill a key role in the harmonization and continuous support of The Company’s HRIS platforms (Workday and SkillsVX). Serve as a key business partner within various functions of HR while utilizing extensive knowledge of HR and Workday processes to coordinate functional requirements and design improved HR business processes.
DUTIES:
Facilitate requirements/scope documentation for application design specifically in the areas of HCM, Position Management, Time and Attendance, Payroll, Benefits, Employee and Manager Self Service, Recruiting and Salary and Classification/Compensation.
Participate in requirements definition, business process design and configuration, testing criteria, issues and recommendations.
Document all requirements for internal and external interfaces, reporting, workflow and security for HR business processes.
Effectively manage the impact that changes to the HR system configuration will have on existing systems and internal and external interfaces.
Create test scenarios, perform tests, document test results, and coordinate/assist the HR team in performing the tests to insure all processes work according to pre-determined goals.
Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure that progress is maintained within expected guidelines and is completed on a timely basis.
Create dashboards and reports from the HRIS system as requested.
Develop training documentation.
Provide first line support to all functional areas of HR; train end users, managers and general staff.
Develop metrics and reports to be utilized by all organizational levels to fulfill business needs.
Implement new functionality to adapt to the changing needs of the organization.
Analyze, relate and plan for impacts due to new functionality or system changes.
Maximize the use of functionality introduced through scheduled updates.
Develop, maintain, and support inbound and outbound integrations to manage mass data updates and inter-system communications.
Supervise and audit system use to ensure data integrity and identify anomalies.
Maintain system security infrastructure.
Partner with other system representatives to strategize on system-wide updates and impacts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, human resources or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Detail oriented as well as being able to see the big picture.
SKILLS:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications.
Familiarity with Workday’s payroll, benefits, compensation, recruiting, talent management, and time tracking functionality.
Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills. Ability to foster and maintain strong working relationships with end users, peers and leaders.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties to achieve most critical business needs first and manage multiple projects in an organized manner.
EXPERIENCE:
4 years of Human Resources experience.
2 years of Workday administration experience and an in-depth knowledge of Workday HCM configuration, business process configuration, Workday security design and configuration, and report development.
Recent knowledge and experience documenting HR business requirements and HR process design.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: temporary/contract (approx. 3 months)
COMPENSATION: $47-49/hr DOE
WORK HOURS: CORE HOURS… Mon-Thurs (7 AM-4 PM) & Friday (7:30 AM-10) other hours to reach 40 per week may be worked at any time
