WHAT YOU’LL DO:
We are looking for an eager, self-starter to join the Email Marketing team. The Email Specialist will be responsible for the development, planning, segmentation, scheduling, and analysis of email campaigns. As a key member of the department, this individual will be integral to growing the brand’s reach and strengthening our connection with our customers. This person must be highly motivated, both detail and deadline-oriented, and can thrive in a hybrid working environment. The ideal candidate continually seeks to improve email performance and their skillset as they relate to driving e-commerce website traffic, acquiring new customers, and nurturing the customer relationship pre-and-post conversion.
- Be the Email expert for your brand(s).
- Develop the execution of email marketing strategies from start to finish delivering results.
- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day Email and SMS marketing campaigns for your brand(s), improving performance.
- Target and segment customers using a thoughtful strategy across multiple touchpoints.
- Work with Digital Graphic Designer, Merchandising as well as Brand department leads in the development of key promotional activity, go-to-market campaigns, product launches and website communications.
- Provide creative content teams directives for the specific creative required for your asset, audience and brand voice to meet department objectives.
- Create/write email campaign messaging consistent with the brand.
- Update and maintain the Email Marketing calendars.
- Knowledge and understanding of Email Marketing-specific KPIs.
- Meet revenue goals and key performance targets in applicable marketing channels.
- Be a thought-starter to improve, acquire and convert customers based on customer funnel state.
- Provide detailed weekly & monthly reporting and analytics to be shared with key stakeholders.
- As an ever-evolving business, other duties may be assigned or required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree: marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
- 2-3 years of hands-on Email Marketing experience; email channel management is preferred.
- Ecommerce and/or web background, though not required.
- Experience working in an enterprise-level ESP. Klaviyo, SMSBump, and/or Shopify experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of customer segmentation and targeting techniques.
- Copywriting and basic image editing and cropping.
- Any HTML/CSS and/or Photoshop knowledge is a plus.
- Attention to detail. You double/triple check everything.
- Strong organization and time management.
- An agile team member with ability to juggle high priority initiatives and pivot quickly.
- Team player; has exceptional communication skills to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Competence to problem-solve independently.
- Results-driven and customer-centric mindset.
- Dependable and a genuine, positive attitude.
- Passion for the active sports lifestyle (Surf, Skate, Snowboard) and/or Fashion.
- Experience in analytics tools (ex. Google Analytics, PowerBI, Looker Studio, Adobe Analytics).
- Proficient in project management platforms such as: Asana, Trello, ClickUp, Air Table, Monday.com, Excel and other Microsoft / Google programs.

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $60k - $65k. This position is hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
